Ayurveda believes that the root of all disease begins in our digestive system, so it is crucial to cook and eat things that are easily digestible and assimilated into our tissues. Kitchari is a balancing staple meal in Ayurveda. You will learn about the nutritive benefits of the main components and why kitchari is such a staple meal. I'll be demonstrating how to make it in class; everyone will enjoy a bowl and some hot tea.

Join Krystle of Banyan Women for Inner Harmony, a transformative workshop designed to nurture holistic wellness and empowerment through the power of breathing, low impact movement, and a supportive community. Ancient Energy Point Therapy; Marma point therapy is a traditional healing practice rooted in Ayurveda that focuses on stimulating vital energy points throughout the body, known as marma points, to promote physical, mental, and spiritual balance. Come learn about some major energy points and the therapeutic applications of stimulating or calming specific marma points. The class will provide a hands-on demonstration, teaching participants how to locate and work with these vital energy centers.
