A Holistic Wellness Program
Serving Marginalized Communities
Access to healthcare is a human right, yet many communities face challenges that keep them from living long and healthy lives. Barriers like health literacy, inflation, limited access to nutritious food, and racial disparities leave individuals and families with no choice between keeping the lights on over taking steps to meet their basic health and wellness needs. Nutrition, mindfulness, and fitness coaching are seen as a luxury, but we know for a fact these things are keys to improving physical and mental health.
In this eight-week program, our certified practitioners will guide women from historically underserved communities through activities and lectures centered around our four branches of wellness: movement, nutrition, lifestyle, and spirit. We've taken great care to create sustainable lessons that are easy to digest, and we're eager to get started. The Banyan Wellness Academy "BWA" is adaptable and can be offered in-person or online. Some customization is available in order to best suit the needs of the participants. Already have nutrition lessons and want more focus on movement and spirit? We can do that.
