Sound, Breath & Journaling

Join our founder, Mel, to begin Wellness Week, using self-care, modalities of crystal sound bowls, breathwork, and journaling to connect to your Sattva.

You will want to be in a quiet location where you can sit or lay down, comfortably. An eye mask and headphones are suggested for the sound portion of class. You will want to bring your journal and something to write with.


Restorative Tapas Yoga Flow:

Tapas: Heat. This practice is for hot summer nights. The heat will allow your muscles to be looser and relaxed to allow for more release. We will connect to our breath through guided meditation. Our breath work will lead us into movement. We will move slow in this practice and explore postures to create your own unique asana. To prepare for class, be well hydrated by sipping coconut water, or juicy eating fruit or water throughout the day. Bring a towel, water bottle, yoga mat and journal to class.


Salads for a Happy Belly & Mind:

  • explore how to nourish ourselves using a ‘sattvic’ approach; i.e. one that promotes balance and wellbeing;

  • discuss the basic principles of sattva and food - and how that might translate into a meal or snack.

  • make a craveable balanced salad that calms your mind, satisfies your belly and refreshes your spirit.


Summer Ayurveda:

Discover the principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them to your summer diet, promoting health and well-being through nutrition. I’ll also be sharing a cooling Ayurvedic smoothie recipe and demonstration.


Kundalini FriYAY Happy Hour

Kundalini Yoga, known as the yoga of awareness, allows you to tap into your inner being to become aware of your limitations and power. It uses a combination of powerful breathwork and repetitive movements to move energy and come back into balance. In this class, we will focus on balancing our energies to create a sattvic state. What you need: Comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, pillows or bolster to sit on, water, and a quiet space.


Yoga Flow: Bringing in Clarity

A 90 minute refreshing flow designed with the intention to “air out” the body and mind. This class thoughtfully weaves together breathing techniques and dynamic movement to create more physical and mental space. Carefully sequenced to prepare for our apex pose- Garudasana (eagle pose)


Sound and Stress Relief Session

Sound Healing Meditations allow us to release feelings of stress, anxiety, and physical pain from our bodies. As we let go of any negative focus, we are able to invite peace and calm as well as a different perspective of the world around us. We create space to heal and rest on a deeper level.
