Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious relaxation achieved through guided meditation, allowing participants to reach a state between wakefulness and sleep. Come well-digested.
You will be lying down on your back, either on a mat with some blankets underneath for padding and on top for warmth, or on your bed, as you follow verbal instructions that lead you through a systematic journey of body awareness, breath control, and visualization. This practice is known for promoting deep relaxation, stress reduction, a balanced nervous system, and enhanced self-awareness, making it a valuable tool for both physical and mental well-being. Let others know you will need to remain undisturbed for at least 45 minutes. It is totally normal and okay if you fall asleep. Create some time and space to transition back into your waking state after our practice.
