Chuchu Style, founded by Chuchu Zhang, is a renowned modeling training and fashion show production studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born into a family of embroiderers with a hundred-year legacy, Lanyu is the most influential millennial fashion designer promoting traditional culture in China. She brought Suzhou embroidery to the Grand Palace in Paris and the exquisite workmanship amazed the public.
Lan Yu established her original brand, LANYU in 2015. Adhering to the design and business philosophy of “just for love, just for you”, she condensed love into Suzhou embroidery works and passed it on with the purest national skills. With ingenious combination of Chinese traditional Suzhou embroidery skills and western advanced materials, her designs show the unique charm. And she keeps contributing the development of the industry with her own practical actions, promoting women’s economic empowerment, and making them aware of the value of their traditional skills. She was invited to participate in the Boao Forum for Asia Young Leaders in 2015.
