Welcome to Banyan Tree Women's Collective

We draw from a rich and diverse tapestry of many interwoven branches of health to personalize your wellness journey, much like the sprawling canopy of a mighty banyan tree. We classify our many offerings into four branches of wellness, each represented by a sturdy branch of this symbolic tree: nutrition, movement, spirit, and lifestyle. Just as a banyan tree's strength lies in the unity of its branches, we believe in optimizing your health and wellness by nurturing harmony and balance in each of these vital branches.

 
 

Nutrition

Nutrition, like the nourishing roots of the banyan tree, forms the firm foundation of your overall well-being. Like the tree draws essential nutrients from the earth to thrive and flourish, we believe holistic nutrition practices promotes your vitality. Our approach to nutrition is deeply rooted in the concept of nourishing not just your body but your entire being.

Movement

Movement is the robust trunk that supports the growth of your overall health. Our approach to movement encompasses various forms of exercise, from yoga and strength training to dance and other art forms that help you connect with your body and increase your vitality.

Spirit

Spirit is the heart of our wellness philosophy, much like the heartwood of a banyan tree. It encompasses emotional and spiritual well-being and includes sound healing, breathwork, meditation, and other techniques to foster emotional intelligence. Cultivating your inner spirit promotes mental clarity, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Lifestyle

Lifestyle is the outermost layer of our holistic approach, akin to the leaves that provide shade and protection. Learn how to make conscious choices that spark preventative health solutions and promote well-being across all dimensions of your life, mind, body and spirit with greater vitality, joy, and sense of fulfillment.

Inclusive Vision: We aspire to a world where everyone can access ancient, evidence-based therapies that enhance health, mood, and stress management. It's not just for those who can afford luxury retreats and spa treatments.

Complementary Approach: Rather than an alternative to conventional medicine, we see ourselves as a complementary and integrative part of wellness.

Expert Collaboration: We work closely with health coaches, doctors, nutritionists, mental health counselors, and fitness instructors to design our free and affordable classes and curricula.

Personalized Guidance: We offer free health coaching to tailor individuals' health journeys to their unique challenges and goals.

The banyan tree is among the oldest and most far-reaching trees on earth. A single tree can flourish to become a vast kingdom of interconnected trees,
hundreds of yards wide and hundreds of years old. 
It’s roots sprout from atop branches that become an entwined and interconnected web of new and old growth.
In the same way, we believe in health care that incorporates the old with the new, so that health and wellness isn’t confined to just one branch.

Sustainable Wellness

The trend toward embracing natural alternative and holistic therapies is gaining momentum, with an increasing demand observed each year. This surge in interest is particularly notable among younger Americans.

Breaking the Cycle

Less than 5% of adults participate in the recommended 30 minutes of physical activity  each weekday.  Only 1 in 3 adults get the recommended 150 minutes of physical activity a week.

Best of Both Worlds

An increasing number of individuals are turning to a combination of the best from both conventional and alternative therapies, seeking to optimize their health and discover relief from chronic pain, and anxiety.

The Joy of Movement

Studies have shown that giving individuals a diverse array of fun & creative exercise options to choose from encourages more physical activity & improved mental and physical health. 

Integrative Medicine 

More & more hospitals are starting to offer evidence-based alternative medicine - known as integrative medicine -  for patients to find relief from such chronic conditions as cancer, back pain & heart disease.

A Quiet Epidemic

Nearly one in five U.S.  adults report having  been diagnosed with depression. Around 75%  of adults report they have experienced health impacts due to stress, including headache, fatigue, anxiety & depression.

Access to All

Due to Lack of health insurance coverage for integrative therapies, individuals often find themselves having to personally cover the costs or opt out entirely, missing the valuable relief these therapies can offer.

Bridging Mind & Body

Holistic practices such as yoga, exercise,  body work, meditation, mindfulness, EFT & sound therapy. have been shown to help individuals reduce their stress, anxiety & depression,  improve sleep  & mood, and help to manage chronic pain.
